Well, I still have a big problem. MPE wants to delete all contacts on the phone.

What I did was delete all contacts from Thunderbird. Then I forced the phone to TB.

So I the contacts in TB (397) are identical to the contacts on the phone.

When I enable sync both ways MPE wants to delete all ...

I just updated to 1.9 for Windows (8.1). Now when I try to sync to Thunderbird MPE finds over 300 contacts that it says are not in TB but they really are. It wants to delete them. I need them!

What can I do?

Can I go back a version?

It is now working.
I had to do a reboot to safe mode for an unrelated reason.
Then I rebooted and MPE syncs just fine now.

Cash $$$$ is on the way.

Folder structure from Thunderbird could not be listed!

- Click "OK" and then change the Thunderbird-Profile in MPE.

- Or start "C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Thunderbird\thunderbird.exe" -p and change the profile

I have only 1 profile, default.
In TB that is the selected one.

Oops, I'm still not out of the woods.

I tried the same with my other Windows 8.1 computer and when I click the Advance button I get the settings screen but then I get a splash, "Folder structure from Thunderbird could not be listed!"

Then I can't ...

There were two copies of the connector running.
I ended both.
Then the debug file ran to completion.

But the MPE-Addin is still a problem.
If I right click the link in your post I don't get a Save as option.

The latest update (78.3.1) stopped WPE so I just back graded to 78.0.
But if I try to synchronize contacts I get:
"Loading entries from Thunderbird failed!"
Everything else under Multi-sync works.

I keep getting the message, "The MyPhoneExplorer-Extension Is Either Not Installed or too old. Install the newest plugin now?"

I just got a new Sony phone. It seems to want to use the google calendar.
I don't want to use google calendar. Google knows too much about me already.
On my previous phone (Amazon Firephone) the calendar app that came with the phone synced fine with MPE.
Also, I use Thunderbird with the Calendar ...

Whenever I plug my phone into the USB connected to my computer MPE starts and begins syncing.

I don't want to do that. I am connecting to transfer files and debug code.

This has gotten to be a real pain.

Suddenly I cannot sync my android phone over WI-fi with either of my two Windows 8.1 computers. They have been syncing fine for many months if not years. I did not change anything (intentionally).

When I try to sync, the window says "Searching......" then switches to "Connecting...." but then ...

I am having a similar problem. I could always connect my desktop to my phone. Maybe it took two or three tries but it would work.

Now it never works.

I noticed that my phone is on the 2.4 GHz channel of my router but my desktop is on the 5 GHz channel.
