I know after I have read an sms, I can go in to notifications in MyPhoneExplorer, and clear the notification on the phone.

Is there a way to have the phone notification cleared automatically, after the sms is read in MyPhoneExplorer. Or could this be an idea for a future release?

Hi, is it possible to clear the message notification on the phone when a message has been read on myphoneexplorer.

I can read the message, then click on the notifications tab in the program, and clear the notification from there, so would have thought it would be possible to link the 2 together?

Still no luck with bluetooth after the update. Here is an extract of the log file if that helps. Daft thing is, for me the old connection type worked fine on Win 10.

In the latest nightly MPE can no longer connect with bluetooth. You say the bluettoth has been re written to connect directly through the bluetooth stack, but when I try to connect MPE says no bluetooth stack can be found.

Hi, since the latest Android update to 4.4.2 on the Galaxy S4, MyPhoneExplorer no longer marks messages read on the PC client as read on the phone.

Is there any way to fix this? I use the app when at work, but when I pick the phone up at the end of the day, I have to go through all the messages ...

I have had this same problem for over a year on S2 and S4, a workround I have found, if you go to the SMS settings on the phone, and notification settings and select 'Message Alert repitition', after the selected time is reached (mine is set to 2 mins), the message opened in MPE will get marked ...

There is another issue which might be linked? Double xxx on the message in MPE doesn't mark its as read on the phone. If i "download entire" on the messages page, it still remains unread on the phone. If i do a "Multi Sync" the refresh the messages it still remains unread.

Currently it seems there is no way to control this behaviour from external apps like MyPhoneExplorer, does the workaround with badgeprovider from this link work for you: m ?

Which phone model you are using ? If its a general issue with Android 4.2.2 then it would be maybe better to disable this ...

You guys having problems with USB, have you read the 'How TO' and 'FAQ' on this and having the correct adb drivers?

Can't be more specific as a) I don't have an S4 and b) I haven't used USB to connect for a couple of years now ....

I read elswhere on this forum, you may need to redownload MPE ...

When the phone is unlocked, and you connect MPE via usb, you will be asked on the phone to allow connection from your PC. Mine does this every time I reconnect via USB as it is a new security feature added in Android 4.2.2.

After accepting the connection my S4 connects fine with USB to MPE ...

Just downloaded and installed the latest official release and still exibiting the same issues


Edit: Just noticed, the notification in the bar and the lock screen is clearing, but only after 5-10 mins.

Hi it was an official bur pre release rom, I will wait and see what the full release does.
