MyPhoneExplorer can't identify my k800i

I just got a k800i and needed a way to upload my address book to it and keep it synch-ed with thunderbird. I found phone explorer, but alas, it won't work.

When I try and search for the phone, I get a message telling me to take out the battery etc, which I tried, and when I click connect I get a "phone can't be identified" message.

I can connect to my pc via bluetooth (Toshiba Stack), the usb cable connection just doesn't work, full stop, even though I installed the drivers. The bt connection definitely works, because I can transfer files (although PC suite won't install).

Any help would be much appreciated; I don't feel like typing in hundreds of numbers!

I have the same problem! Read the FAQ, doesn't help. The k800i is still not detected...
