Hi,
I have a SE W850i
On there I have 849 sms.
I need to get them all of the phone and printed out as they are to be used in a court case.
When MPE loads my sms in says download X of 849 messages, However when it gets to about number 160 it stops then opens the messages inbox.
At the bottom of the page it says
message counter: 0 and then x/78 (Where X=message number I have highlighted)
Is there a way I can get all of my messages to be displayed?
Also some of the messages are multiple sms's IE where one sms contains 3 sms's as its so long, The full txt of this is not displayed I get (...) instead which it tells me that if I open the message. Is there a way to view the whole message ?
Here are my settings for MPE
Com port: 4 Sony Ericsson USB Data Modem
Baud Rate: 921600
OBEX: 4096
Stable connection is checked, If I dont have this checked then MPE wont connect to my phone. I get a phone can not be identified error message.
My Fone is SE W850i
OS - XP Media Center SP2
MPE Version - 1.6.3
Connection Type - USB
Firmware - R1ED001
LAC - 9D81 / 00075A09
If I select Com7 Sony Ericsson USB Device Manager MPE starts to downloads the messages, it gets to number 570 stops for a few seconds then asks if i want to copy or delete from archive after I make a selection MPE just closes itself or is shut down by windows (Not sure which it is)
You may view the Debug.txt file @ www.get-wireless.co.uk/Debug.txt
Also the sms that I need to get start on the 27/8/2007 upto present,
Yet the messages displayed show some on the 27/08/2007 and then jump to the 03/09/2007 and I know there are messages in between those dates.
Regards
Shaunie

Hi,
I have disabled the stable connection and still cannot get MPE to connect. Each time it says phone could not be identified.
I dont have ehtray running. I have also killed all processes that are not system critical from task manager.
I have read this http://www.fjsoft.at/forum/viewtopic.php?t=42 and there is nothing in there that helps with my problem
logfile at www.get-wireless.co.uk/Debug.txt
Thanks
Shaunie

If you use the original USB-Cable which was delivered with the phone then you have a problem with the drivers.
This is your machine. With correct installed drivers it should look like this:12:05:26.25 Avaiable Ports: COM3=Winachsf0; COM4=\Device\000000d8; COM5=\Device\000000da; COM6=\Device\000000dc; COM7=\Device\000000dd;
