After updating to V1.8.14, I've noticed that messages are not synced correctly using "extras > start multi-sync", but are synced correctly when refreshing the "messages > conversations" view. I delete messages on the phone and after multi-sync has completed the message view usually still ...

It's difficult to be certain, but I think this might be due to an AVG AntiVirus update on the phone.

Removing AVG from the phone allows the connection to work with both PCs (desktop and laptop).

Suddenly this afternoon my phone would no longer connect by USB cable.

The error message is "Phone could not be identified". The connection bar pauses at "Identifying...", then the failure occurs. The logfile content is below. The key part appears to be:

For no obvious reason, MPE has suddenly started aborting immediately after syncing SMS messages with the phone (HTC One, Android 4.4).

Here's the last few lines of the debug.txt file:

Just in case it annoys you as well, turning the keypad vibrate off involves unchecking the vibrate option in the HTC Sense keyboard settings AND in the sound settings (vibrate on touch).

On Windows XP after the HTC One Android V4.3 update, connecting by USB caused the system to prompt for the CDC Serial driver and Android Phone driver.
