Syncing works over wifi, but not over USB: Even with "USB debugging" enabled in the "Developer options" section, adb doesn't list the device.

Since it relies on the cumbersome USB tethering and syncing from the phone's app, I suggest checking if MPE could somehow be used to sync EssentialPIM with Android from the PC instead.

Having the exact same problem while using a Xiaomi Redmi Android phone: Tasks created in the phone are no longer synced with MPE (and then onto Outlook).

Thinking it might be a mismatch between Android MPE (1.0.66) and Windows MPE clients, I updated the Windows client to 1.8.12, to no avail ...

I have a suggestion, at least for Calendar/Task: Add a few features so that it's a good enough alternative to most MPE users as an alternative to Outlook.

I'm still using Outlook + MPE because EssentialPIM is a PITA to sync with Android, while MPE is so practical.
