[SOLVED] "OBEX Errocode C1 Unauthorized"?

Hello,

Searching the archives returned no hit.

I had to go back to an old phone and MPE fails syncing.

The phone is a Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 running Android 9 and the MiUI interface 11.03.3.

After launching the MPE client (4.3) on Android, I added the new connection in the Windows application (2.2).

Next, I hit File > Connect (OK), followed by Extras > Start MultiSync: It fails every task ("Please wait/Sync Phonebook (phone)", with "OBEX Errocode C1. Unauthorized".

FWIW, it won't let me take a screenshot. And unlike the newer phone I had, Android doesn't prompt me to allow USB whatever when trying to connect.

What could I try?

Edit: The answer is here (add authorizations in Settings > Apps > Manage Apps > MPE > App Permisions). I should have searched through Google also before asking.
