I guess one address book in Thunderbird would be the best option. But the separate address books help me organise various activities.

I've been playing around with MPE.

And thought of this workaround.

I can export each of my Thunderbird address book as LDIF files to my desktop. That is: 1.ldif, 2.ldif........upto 5.ldif

Then in MPE, I import these files from my desktop one by one...1.ldif, 2.ldif....upto 5.ldif.

When I connected the 2nd w810i, the computer recognised the phone. This is what got me confused. If the computer recognised the phone, I assumed that the drivers were installed.

Anyway, I did a manual 'Add Hardware' via the Control Panel of my computer.

It ran thru installing WDC Modem driver ...

Getting all the contacts into the phone from Thunderbird is good enough.
MPE is so good, I expect it to be able to do everything I think of!!!

I have two w810i phones that I would like to use with MPE. My phone connects fine, syncs fine and I am happy! (Thank you FJ!)

I now would like to connect another (my wife's) w810i and sync from Thunderbird and Google Calendar.

But MPE will not connect with the this other w810i.

As per previous post, I have 5 different address books in Thunderbird. When I sync with my w810i all the contacts are just one big address book in my phone.

Is there any way to create different named address books, exactly as they are in my thunderbird.

I hope this is not a stupid question!

I have he SEw810i and at first, being unfamiliar with the phone (just got it a month ago) I thought the same thing.

But when i opened a particular entry which was synced via MPE and Thunderbird, I realised that all the additional information was there and could be seen by going into the entry and ...

I meant that additional phone card - memory stick and not the sim card.

Is it possible to import contacts from Thunderbird to MPE, without syncing with the w810i?

I would like to get a specific address book from Thunderbird into MPE, edit some information and then sync from MPE to w810i?

Is this possible and how would I do it?
