w810i | Connecting another w810i to sync

I have two w810i phones that I would like to use with MPE. My phone connects fine, syncs fine and I am happy! (Thank you FJ!)

I now would like to connect another (my wife's) w810i and sync from Thunderbird and Google Calendar.

But MPE will not connect with the this other w810i.

I tried all the tips as per the popup from MPE. Still does not connect. What do I need to do?

Install the drivers of the phone and READ THE FAQ

Would I need to do the drivers, even though MPE reads one w810i phone and not another w810i phone??

You have to install the drivers seperate for each phone

When I connected the 2nd w810i, the computer recognised the phone. This is what got me confused. If the computer recognised the phone, I assumed that the drivers were installed.

Anyway, I did a manual 'Add Hardware' via the Control Panel of my computer.

It ran thru installing WDC Modem driver, OBEX interface and then WDC Modem Management and finally finished.

Rebooted the computer. Rebooted the phone.

Opened up MPE. Went to File>Options>Syn>Search for phone
MPE found it on COM8 and alls' working fine now.
