Agreed, but there is no harm in people trying to work out ways of doing it without having to have a full blown VM, or support from FJ.

Same problem here on Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit.
I have "delete cache on exit" checked, but it's not working.
I can't see how to upload the debug.txt here.
But I can post it as a separate message if needed.

I tried connecting over WiFi - MPE sees the phone but will not connect to the existing user that is already created (says it can't connect to that) - but asks if I want instead to connect to /create new user.
So for now I am forced to do that and re-sync contacts etc.

I know this is an old thread, but I thought I would just let you know that I stoppedusing USB with my old Galaxy S4 some years back thinking it was the USB port on the phone.

Yeah I have exactly the same experience.
Seems something changed and TB now requires an MPE extension which perhaps isn't functioning?

well I eventually deleted all the contacts from my phone and then re-synced.
That solved the sync problem, at the cost of loosing a few changes on my phone.

Since my phone recent system update my contacts won't sync and returns error D0. Everything else syncs fine.
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the client, but only lost my MPE notes - but no help with the problem.

It seems tht MPE shows the external (or extended it was referred to in this thread) in the directory: system storage/mnt/sdcard2.

So the files MPE shows under SD card are actually still accessible when I remove my SD card.
This seems the wrong way round to me, and very confusing indeed.

The intentionally (officially) bundled software has been implemented in an intentionally deceptive way which could have a very negative impact on the perception of MPE.
