Sync after flashing Rom defaults to wrong user

Hi,
I have looked and can't find anything in English about this issue on the forum.
I have recently flashed my Galaxy S4 with Lineage OS optimised. I previously had an older version of Paranoid Android.
Now when I sync (I use wifi) even though I select the most recent user (Paranoid) when MPE is searching for connection it jumps to my old Galaxy S4 user profile.
Is there a way that I can force it to sync with the one I want ?
I would like to sync the notes and texts etc.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated - many thanks
