Right click sync with Outlook?

Beitrag von martin_b »

Hi all. New user here.

Currently, whenever I want to sync my Outlook 2003 with my W890i I have to open MyPhoneExplorer, go to calendar and then hit the sync button. This seems not nescessary and a bit tedious.

Is it possible via the tray icon right click menu to sync with Outlook? If not, could this be implemented?

Also, whenever I plug in a USB device while MPE is running, it tells me it is detected by MPE. Is there a way to turn this off? I mean, I know when I plug in an USB key, no need for MPE to tell me ;)

Thanks
Martin

The multi-sync can be started from Trayicon and through global hotkey. Set the multisync to sync only the organizer -> thats it. besides this you couls start the organizer-sync also throught the Outlook-Addin of MyPhoneExplorer.

The notification is only shown when MPE is currently not connected, and it should be shown only for Devices which are mapped to a COM-Port (so it does not react on a common usb-stick)

Thanks for the reply. I thought the MultiSync was only to sync to MPE and not Outlook. Will try that then.
You're right about the USB, it is indeed a HSDPA-device (which also doubles as a USB memory key) that is being connected. I guess it maps as a COM-port.
