I'm using this program since ver 1.6.3 on October 2007
my problem is as it's in the subject i needed to update my phone which is K610i so i made a backup using MPE and after updating i tried to restore the messages but i couldn't it says that it needs 1002 free slots and i have only 1000 so any idea what to do ?
can i copy the messages that are saved in this backup in the archive ( Computer ) then upload to the phone again after deleting these two messages

Theretically it will work if you delete two messages in the phone, but then is the phone full after restoring the backup which is not good.
I would prefer another solution: You can import the messages of the backup into the SMS-Archive (SMS-Archive->Rightclick->Import/Export->Import...). Then you have the messages in the SMS-Archive and you can choose which messages should be uploaded to phone.
