(I'm beginner)
1. Finally I realized how to make archive from apointements =
a) Sync calender with MPE
b) Switch to view (when all are listed in one column)
c) add-ons / list / export to excel
2. Problem is I wish I can open this data in Sunbird. But exporting .xls in .csv takes only one column. Is it possible to join name and time column manually?
3. Because I waited too long to discover this, my phone calendar is full, also there woos 2 time switching from first to last appointment.
When I sync moby with MPE (and MPE with Sunbird) first MPE takes tasks from moby, than it tries to write them back on Moby, (?perhaps he see it in different time zone-like new tasks?), my moby "sings repeatedly" hath his memory is full and he cant receive "new" data, after 400 "sync tries" pops up window for sync with Sunbird, (I tried sync moby-SB and Sync both), when I pres ok - MPE freezes, with still open window:
Please wait, sync progress (organization/tasks) with Sunbird...
What should I do to save my old tasks to see them later in Sunbird? (Do I really have to delete all and start from scratch? ( I installed Sunbird yesterday)
4. This program is great and every day better, but lot of things are hidden. (my old tries have exported only "to do list", because I didn't know that it works only with "one column view"...)
Maybe some Q&A for beginners will help a lot...
Sync and archive of task / termine / calendar
First make an export of the calendar (rightclick->Export/IMport->Export whole calendar -> as iCalendar (*.ics). This file can be imported into sunbird if an accident happens. Then you can set a timeperiod for syncing - lets say 30 days in past and 90 days in future - with this setting the phonestorage will be not overfilled.
