bluetooth and file transfer in MPE

is it possible? I tried many times and I get always the same result: connection hangs with window "waiting for the phone response" or something like that. On the phone there is a request for accepting incoming file, when I accept nothing is happen then MPE does nothing and there is no transfer at all

is there any way to use file transfer module with bluetooth just like it works with cable connection? (with bluesoleil file transfer through BT works like a charm even with windows' drag'n'drop feature)

Usually the phone asks if you would allow this action (as you said), then press ok-button and it should work! Maybe you waited too long between sending the file in MPE and pressing the ok button?
Which phone do you have?

W880i with 200MHz under the hood (fastest mobile I've ever used )

I don't think so there is a timing problem, cause I tried several possibilities

the situation look like this:

1. trying to send file
2. after about 1-2 seconds receiving request shows up on the phone
3. after another 1-2 seconds MPE shows message that MPE is waiting for something
4. I accept transfer on the phone and I can see file name and data counter but there is no transfer even signle byte, MPE hangs with "waiting message"

there is no such problem with file transfer using bluesoleil software (with bluesoleil bluetooth file transfer works for me like cable file transfer with MPE with no transfer requests messages waiting for confirmation...)

You cannot compare the filetransfer with myPhoneExplorer with Bluesoleils inbuild browser. The Bluesoleil-Software has much more interfaces which can be used - MyPhoneExplorer just needs a virtual COM-Port - thats all.

Try it with the setting "Stable connection" in MyPhoneExplorer. maybe this helps. You have to reconnect after changing this setting.
