Dear wondeful people at My Phone Explorer!
With a lot of joy I use your program. Now my laptop will have to be totally cleaned and I want to copy My Phone Explorer to a PC, there is already an older version with data on it.
I cannot find a way to export and import the data so it will be ONE MPH on one computer and without loss of data.
Can you please walk me through it?

Do I have to install a new one first, and will the data automatically copy?

An update to version 1.7.2 is highly recommended. Usually when updating MPE the user-data will not be removed. But taking a backup would be a good idea. 
You can use the "create backup" function in MPE or you can save the following folder:
Start - Run - %appdata%\MyPhoneExplorer - OK
Then you can see a folder with your MPE-username.
All userdata are saved in there (e.g. SMS.dat, Organizer.dat, ...)
