Help In Nokia AT Commands

First of all thanks for your previous help. I am using Nokia 6280 and I had a problem that AT commands are not working properly. When I tries to send AT+CMGR=4 to phone it replies ERROR.

Please help me in this matter. If you can provide me a sample program to read and send messages from nokia phones, I 'll be very thankful to you.

I dont know about Nokias interface cause i am not working with Nokias (and MPE is not compatible with Nokia). But if your phone does support a common AT-Interface then try AT+CMGL=1 , this should list all messages in the inbox. AT+CMGR=4 reads out the message with the ID 4, if this slot is free you'll get an error.
