Hi,
I have serious problems that the applications hangs like every third time I move out of bluetooth coverage and back in again.
The way the application hangs is that the only way to even kill the process is to reboot the computer.
I.e. I can't even go into the Task Manager and manually kill the process.
More information:
I use Bluetooth connection between my devices and the PC. The same symptom applies regardless of device used, and I have now expeerienced the issue with 4 different phones, and for more than 3 months of use.
Any fix? Anyone else seen the same problem?
Regards Daniel
Application hanging
It depends on the Bluetooth-Stack of the PC. If the phone is out of range then MPE tries every 10 seconds to open the virtual Com-Port. Some Bluetooth-Stakc block the Clientapplication (MyPhoneExplorer) on this try. You could try to update your BT-Driver. If this doesn't help then it disapperas if you check "Disable automatic connection detection" in the settings of MyPhoneExplorer.
