Birthdays before 1970

I can't register birthdays or events/posts that's history, before 1970. Is this right or am I wrong?

The most phones have a limit for events on 1970. You cannot set events before this year. But on birthdays you can overide this by adding a yearly ruled event on 1970. The real birthyear can be written in the description-field.
