sms delivery report on p990i

Hi! .. I am a bit puzzled as to why i do not receive delivery reports when sending smses from MPE.. What happens is :
* i send an sms.
* i get a confirmation that the sms has been sent.

that's it.. Now, my mobile supports delivery reports.. and when i send an sms from the mobile while it is connected i do get a delivery report on the mobile (which also pops up from MPE via balloon popup)

I'm using the most recent version 1.7 .. i noticed that sms delivery report wasn't working correctly in the previous either. the sms delivery icon on the sms box is no longer there now so how do i enable it?

this problem seems like it's just a case of turning on the facility as MPE seems to recognise delivery reports but just doesn't send the request when sending smses from MPE

any help would be appreciated

I have disabled delivery-reports if a Symbian-Phone is connected cause it doesn't work correct - the phone doesn't accept a delivery-report if the message were sent with external software.

oh yeah my mobile is a p990i but i guess you figured it's a symbian by yourself

I honestly don't know how SE don't help you out with your work man! your software is a big reason why my next mobile will be an SE

SE doesn't help me in any case. Even if i ask important technically questions i get only a useless standard-answer. I think they are too big and unflexible to help a little developer like me.
