Can I transfer texts from MPE to W910i?

Hi
I've just replaced my W810i with a W910i. I've transferred my texts off W810i to MPE and would like to transfer them to my W810i. Is this possible?

Connect you old phone and use Menu-Extras-Create backup. then connect your new phone and choose Menu-Extras-Restore backup

I've just tried this. I've created the back up but when I try to restore on my new phone I get the message 'Could Not Open Com4' Any ideas?
