MPE doesnt show in tray after minimize...

Hi

The title says it all...

When I minimize MPE, no icon shows in the tray.
I can tell it's active because it still pops up incoming sms messages.
It worked on previous version. Any clue?

I'm running XP with SP3.

Never heard about this thing.
maybe you disabled it in systray-rightclick-customize notificaion-icons

Ok, I didnt check the "customize notifications", but still the icon doesn't show there either in both current and past fields.

However I can easely restore it, by relaunching it from the main shortcut.

Are you using shellextensions or something similar ?
Its a littlebit strange cause you are the first user with this problem ever.

Yes its strange, I didnt ever had this problem before.

No Im not using any shellextensions that Im aware of. My system is recently installed with few programs.
Do you think Unlocker http://ccollomb.free.fr/unlocker/
may be iterfering with MPE?

I don't think so but it would be a try to close this application (or better remove it from msconfig for the next startup)

Yes I can try that, I will also try and reinstall MPE. See if that does the trick

Ok there is a cure for this rare mpe tray disease.

Just reinstall mpe and everthings fine!:D
