Message MSVBVM60.dll appearing when trying to start MPE

Hi there.

I have recently done a Windows XP install after my laptop was repaired and having downloaded and installed MPE every time I try to start it I get the following message...............

'This application has failed to start because MSVBVM60.DLL was not found'

I managed to download this file from the net and aware that its something to do with visual basic but it still doesn't make any difference, MPE won't start.

Can anybody give me any advice or ideas please?????
