Is there any way to merge MEP data between different pc's. For example between a laptop and a desktop? I ask especially for sms archive.

You can use import/export for this

Import / Export merges the data? I thought this function replaces it.

No you can export the data and when you import it the data will be added.
But make a backup of the existing data, just in case something goes wrong.
