SMS are splitted in message of 66 char

Hello,
When I send sms, my message is splited in smaler sms of 66 character, can somebody tell me why?
I think we should be able to send larger sms like 128 or 250 char.

If you use special chars in your sms then a message can only keep 70 chars. You can see in the statusbar if the charset switches to UCS2. This is not a bug - its a common standard.

Thanks for the feedback, I was sometime surprised by the number of SMS while the text is not so complicated (I mean dosn't have that much number of special characters)
