Some contact details sometimes not considered

With some functionality some contact details are not considered.

For example, if I add birth date to a phone entry, upon synchronization you wont see the diference between the phone entry and the myphoneexplorer entry, the contacts look exactly the same but indeed some data was added to one of them.

Also, three phones are kept for each contact: personal, work and other. Other does not seem to be synchronized.

My phone is a SE K750i.

Great program anyway.

Please be a littlebit more exactly. Give me a example what you do and which data are not accepted.

Looking more into the problem, it looks like MyphoneExplorer does not handle windows vista contacts as expected.

Examples:

Phone -> MyPhoneExplorer -> Windows Vista Contact

I add a birthdate to a mobile contact. I synchronize it with MyPhoneExplorer. Then I can see correctly the birthdate on MyphoneExplorer for that contact. But if I edit the correspondant windows vista contact, the birthdate is not present.

The other way around:

Windoes Vista contact -> MyPhoneExplorer -> Mobile

If I add an "Other" Phone to my windows vista contact, MyPhoneExplorer doesnt seem to read it correctly and it won synchronize the data to the mobile.

So the problem seems to be when MyPhoneExplorer reads and writes a windows vista contact.

I just tried both jobs:

- Phone-MyPhoneExplorer-Vista Contacts are equal
- adding a birthday to a contact in the phone
- sync
- the birthday appears also in the Vista contact

- adding a "pager" in a vista-contact (which is the Other-Field in the phone)
- sync
- the number is also in the phone now

Was this the right procedure to reproduce the bug ?

Can you send me the vista-contactfile and the exported contact from MyPhoneExplorer after the sync with a small description via mail ?

Ok...the problem was that there is a missalignment with windows live contacts and windows contacts.

Windows live contacts have a "Other Phone" field and a pager one, "Work mobile device". I was using the the first field instead of the second.

The birthday bit was my mistake.
