K800i calendar problems.

Having used a donation-paid MPE for quite a while on my desktop< wanted to put it onto a new HP laptop machine. And, boy, have I ever had a frustrating weekend! I finally abandoned all attempts to make it work with a USB cable, and bought a bluetoooth adaptor. At least now the phone and computer can see each other, and attempt to communicate.

However, there appears to be a problem with multi-sync. It appears to start doing the phonebook OK, but seems to stall after all but the last couple of contacts have been synched. Then MPE appears to finish, but despite this the calendar details don't synch at all, despite MPE saying they do. If I do a manual synch of the phone book, when MPE finishes, the K800 is still saying that synchchronisation is still happening. If I restart my phone I can then do a synch of the calendar.

Any ideas what I might be doing wrong, or could do better?

Are you able to try the same on another PC ?

Hi FJ - thanks for your help.

Phone works perfectly well with my desktop machine, only have problems with my laptop, which is HP G6000 notebook series.
