Hi
This is a great software, and I am using it with my android phone since 2014.
Now I am getting older and I can hardly read my notes, appointments and so on.
There is an option to click BIG LETTERS in "appearence" but I cannot see any other option, except for changin the type of letter.
Can I solve this problem through another means, like changing screen resolution in windows ?
Thanks
text size. I cannot use a bigger text

I use this option from the beginning, however I see, that even then the text size remains relatively small and there is no option to select a larger text size.tardon hat geschrieben:There is an option to click BIG LETTERS in "appearence" but I cannot see any other option, except for changin the type of letter.
You can try to select another font, because they have different readability with same text size and characters of some fonts appear larger than others despite same text size.
Of course you can do this using windows settings, which affects all programs, why do you ask ?tardon hat geschrieben:Can I solve this problem through another means, like changing screen resolution in windows ?
Some programs require a minimum resolution and might not work correctly with a too small screen, however your monitor size determines whether this might get a problem.
I simple mechanism to control a single program only is the compatibilily mode with a reduced screen resolution, however this has disadvantages as the screen changes resolution when launching that program.
The mechanism windows provides for problems which you described is accessibility where you can change the text size and other display properties, however many programs do not follow these settings as this would require to use the display attributes from the windows settings for their elements, if the element falls into one of the defined class.
However, a test wird a large text scaling shows odd display effects in MPE while minor changes show no effect. Remember, that FJ wrote, that MPE is based on an older platform, so no program changes should be expected to to the large effort needed.
Another windows helper I often use is the screen magnifier, however its use is difficult to handle in continuos use.
So, changing the screen resoltion should be the easiest way.
