Unless it is just me -- always a possibility -- there does not seek to be keyboard access to the MPE icon in the system tray. It responds only to the mouse.
I use Win key B to get to the tray and then arrow over to the icon, but the windows context key does nothing, space bar nothing, enter key nothing.
This would be useful at least for me because I launch MPE with an autohotkey like script along with several other essential programs. but it starts out minimized to the system tray (oh, maybe there is a setting for THAT) but it would still be very useful to access the functions of the system tray icon with the keyboard.
Thanks for making and maintaining an essential app & I cannot thank you enough for maintaining access to the EccoPro personal information manager. These are two programs I cannot work without, and maybe even run my other life without!
Keyboard control of icon in windows 10 system tray
Re: Keyboard control of icon in windows 10 system tray
Although I never use this method to invoke MPE, I cannot reproduce your problem (Win 11, MPE 2.2): After Win-B, the arrow keys move the focus to the MPE icon and then, space or enter execute the default command in the context menu which is Restore ... and the MPE main window pops up as expected.cjholly hat geschrieben:there does not seek to be keyboard access to the MPE icon in the system tray.
