Left over contact no the phone when they are renamed

Howdy,

Sorry has to be in english, can't do German.
When sync'ing the contact, there's something that get's lost over the sync, because i did a resync, what happened.

1, sync as usual in the past, i had the contact "AEJE, Joao Silva"
2, sync and resync over the last month's
3, renamed the contact from "AEJE, Joao Silva" to "Joao Silva"
4, sync in myphoneexplorer
5, now on the phone i have "Joao Silva", all good, but i have a contact still named "AEJE, Joao Silva" with no number
6, on myphoneexplorer side, it's all OK, no left over

So, what i think it did in the sync was to leave the old contact without number, when i did the sync

Can you check it please? i have several cases like this

The situation you describe is very unusual, I've never heard of it before:?
Basically, after a sync, the data in the MPE and in the cell phone are identical.
Of course, this only applies to the contact accounts activated under Phone => MPE-Client => Settings => contact-accounts to sync.

I.e. I suspect that the contacts without numbers are from another contact account?!!
Check the “Display contact accounts” setting in your contacts app
which should be with Phone => MPE-Client => Settings => contact-accounts to sync. be identical

CORRECTION to the below.
The names in MPE have already been changed in the first phase of sync. Middle names and anything in brackets() have already been deleted in MPE

Hello, I have a problem that sounds like it may have the same root cause.
I tried a sync, having only added a few contacts to my phone.
MPE says "1038 contacts will be editted" even though none has changed.
It seems to be missing the middle name, e.g. "Julie Jack Kent" becomes "Julie Kent" even though both the phone and Outlook have "Julie Jack Kent". The pattern seems the same for all 1038 entries. I don't want MPE to remove the middle names!
Can you help?

Hi,
Is there any news on a fix for this? I dare not sync my contacts as I think I may lose important information. Any middle name, e.g. First Middle Last or Jim Plumber London, will be lost e.g. they become First Last and Jim London, so "Plumber" is lost.
I believe this is a bug introduced recently or possible a conflict with outlook or google.
Any work around ideas? Please?

If the data in Outlook is still correct, you should force a sync from Outlook > Mobile phone
