What is Internal Sync Database and what is it supposed to do when I select it in Sync settings?

The path is in MPE application Settings menu under latest item "Enhanced 2".
You'll find it too in registry key : "HKCU\Software\MyPhoneExplorer\\Database"
Append to this path "MyPhoneExplorer" and a folder name that depends on you phone Model and IMEI. This is where MPE stores a copy of your phone databases. In MPE, you can sync with several phones, each one will get it's own folder.
Local copy (Internal Sync Database) can be either overwritten with phone's data or Synced.
Synchronize means that you can alter the phone data in the MPE copy and apply the changes in the phone. A growing index is associated to each change so that MPE can compare and evaluate which is the latest one between Phone or PC.
