On my phones running Android versions 10 and below, everything works fine with MPE v1.8.15.
On my Pixel 3a, which just updated to Android 11, ALMOST everything works except for the "file" section. It shows both Internal and System storage as empty but it does list all of the installed apps.
It looks to me like some kind of permissions problem, but I have no idea of how or where to grant access. On the phone under the MPE app "files and media permission" I have "allow management of all files" selected.

Proble half solved
After posted the question, I deleted the client from the Pixel and reloaded it being careful to grant all the required permissions. Client version 1.0.74 (same as before).
Now it DOES show Internal storage. System storage still shows as empty, but that is not a problem for me since I only wanted access to the Internal storage.

I have the same on Windows 10 Pro 21H1 , MPE client V 1.8.15 (have also tried 1.8.14, 1.8.13 & 1.8.12), MPE android 1.0.80.
One ONE PC system only I cannot see any files listed. When Files is selected it doesn't list External/internal/system in the right-hand window. If I select one of these in the left-hand window (Navigation), no files or directories are shown. If I select 'View Folders' the folders are visible in the folders pane. Selecting a folder shows either a blank window or ''The folder is empty' message.
Syncing photos does work, despite no files being displayed.

Now running Win10 Pro 21H2, MPE client 1.9, MPE android 2.4
As I browsed the phone directories from MPE on the PC - When i got to Internal Storage\android\data The phone notified me a permission was required for MPE to access these files. clicked allow on the phone & all kept working.
