problems uploading

when i upload, it uploads about 2% then says phone did not answer. i thought maybe i need to click ok for confirmation on the phone, but no such message comes up. then the program acts unresponsively

Mostly its the wron COM-Port. Post the logfile after you got the message and read the FAQ
