Message deleted from the phone but not from the application

After moving all messages from my phone (LG V20 running Android 8.0) to MPE archive, all messages were deleted from the phone except one message that is still showing in the Inbox pane of MPE. When I sync the messages, this particular message appears in the list of messages, even though it is not in the phone.

When I try deleting or removing it, MPE shows a message box with the error "Cannot be deleted!".

Any ideas how to solve this issue?

Are you sure it´s a SMS and not a MMS?

Due new updated developer guidelines of Google its no more possible for an app to hold the permission for sending messages, and initiating calls and also to have write access to the sms database and call log for the same app. Please take a look at this: https://support.google.com/googleplay/a ... er/9047303
Currently the only possibility is to use the last version of MyPhoneExplorer Client before the policy update (1.0.48) which can be downloaded here: https://www.fjsoft.at/files/mpeclient_1.0.48.apk

I did not explain my issue correct.

I have a text (SMS) message "stuck in my MFE program on the windows PC - it cannot be deleted - and it does not exist on my phone anymore.

So : how to delete from the PC ?
It cannot be archived.
I can click on it and hit "delete" - and all I get is an error msg : "Cannot delete"

What happens when you click on the second button in the toolbar (Download entire)? Does it disappear after a complete refresh?

One of the two stuck messages disappeared.

The message, that disappeared, was sent by "a real" mobilephone.

The message, that didn't go away, was sent by a bank (som sort of servicemessage)
When xxx on the message + xxx on "Extended attributes" for the sender, this is shown :

Hmm, maybe its a display bug in the phone - because the message is really stored on the phone.

You are not able to delete the message via MyPhoneExplorer has another reason:

Downloaded the .apk as indicated in the reply ...
After allowing the install my Nokia X20 says :
"App not installed, since the package seems to be invalid"
