Problem new client 1.0.46

I installed the new client version 1.0.46 from Google Play Store this morning and now have the following problems:

When my phone (LG G4) is connected to my laptop (WINDOWS 7 64-bit) via WiFi MPE 1.8.8:

I no longer can clear a calendar alarm from the "Notifications" tab in MPE on my laptop - when I try to clear it from MPE, it opens that calendar event on my phone.

I also used to be able to clear the "Fast-charging" notification, which I no longer can do - I realise that I can clear it via "Setting/Desktop-Notifications"

EDIT: I also just got a news push message and can't clear it from my laptop - it opens on my phone when I try to clear it on my laptop - very annoying

Is there a way that I can go back to the previous client version, as that worked perfectly?

I have now installed ver 1.0.41 of the client again and everything seems to work as before.

Where can I SAFELY download ver 1.0.45, i.e. the version before latest update?

UPDATE:
I have downloaded and installed the latest beta client and everything works perfectly again
