archives files syntax

Dear FJ,

Thank you for the best android tool, so far !
I just wanted to merge 2 SMSarchive.dat files but I'd like to know how ?
what is the start sequence of a new sms ? I tried to simply add the content of one file at the end of another one, but it is not merged.
please can you help me ?

-> Load the first file into MPE
-> create a backup (Menu-Extras-Create backup) and save only the sms archive
-> exit MyPhoneExplorer and copy the second archive file into the userfolder
-> launch MyPhoneExplorer and restore the backup you created before
