Hi,
My Phone Explorer - Phone version 1.0.40
Can the app close time be configurable so that the app can be left open and waiting for a selected time. The default is 15 minutes, but I would like it to be variable, and potentially always on, so I don't have to activate repeatedly.
Ideally it would have a low power draw.
Is there already a way to set this app time availability?
Regards
Waiting for connection - app will be closed in x minutes

I don't know, whether the function you ask for exists exactly in that way (I believe it does not).
However, for me the same purpose can be achieved in a different way:
In the settings of the client you can select the client to start automatically when the phone is in the range of one or more WiFi networks. For example in the home network. This way the client is always active at home, even when the PC or desktop version of MPE is not running.

Update of info
Thankyou Wilfred for the response.
For a couple of security reasons the Wifi does not suit me at home or work. It's all about Bluetooth for me with connection triggered from the PC, or fall-back connection by USB.
I'm hoping my suggestion gets picked up by the developer, and included in a future release.
A prior release did not have the automated app time-out, and that worked well for me.
