MPE schliesst sich nach SMS löschen!?
Hi!
Ansonsten 1 A Programm....weiter so!
MfG,
Gojira

I can confirm this, 1.60 does the same thing for me (K500i). All previous versions have worked perfectly. Even deleting a single message can cause it to exit immediately, however it only occurs sometimes, maybe 1 in 3 message. The message is deleted on the phone, so I assume it's due to some post-deletion action. I've turned on logging, I'll post the log when it occursGojira hat geschrieben:Hab´s heut nochmal ausprobiert.......funktioniert einwandfrei.

Just a thought, could it be a bug in the new SMS display mode that displays the full message on mouseover? (which is very nice BTWAnonymous hat geschrieben:Even deleting a single message can cause it to exit immediately, however it only occurs sometimes, maybe 1 in 3 messages.

After a fair bit of testing I haven't been able to find any pattern to this, deleting messages using the 'Delete' key vs. context menu, or with the full message displayed (via mouseover) vs. having just the single line of text highlighted makes no difference. Since I've now got logging turned on I'll post the log when it next crashes.Anonymous hat geschrieben:Just a thought, could it be a bug in the new SMS display mode that displays the full message on mouseover?
(Oh, and as others have pointed out, there's a display sync problem when deleting messages

Thanks, I'm just downloading it now. I've now finally got a crash log for 1.6.0 if it's still useful (still haven't been able to find any pattern to cause it though), it sends the AT+CGMD, gets back the ack from the phone, and then the log ends:FJ hat geschrieben:Please wait for 1.6.1 - i think i fixed the bug

The following seems to do it:
From Messages > Inbox, click on a message so that the message text is displayed in the textbox at the bottom of the MPE window. Move the mouse cursor over the "From" column for that message so that the message text is highlighted in yellow. Press the 'Delete' key. MPE should exit.

I've been testing this a bit more, it's the display/highlighting of the message text when deleting that does it, without that it's fine, with it it crashes every time. If the above instructions aren't detailed enough to reproduce it, let me know where I need to provide more info.Anonymous hat geschrieben:The following seems to do it:

Unfortunately this problem is still present even in the latest version (1.7.0), it's not quite as bad as it used to be but I can still crash MPE fairly consistently by deleting multiple messages one after the other. It's not always the same, but the general pattern seems to be do start with a set of SMS messages and then walk down them with the keyboard hitting the 'Delete' key on each one. After 3-5 message MPE exits suddenly with the usual Windows crash-reporting dialog. FJ, if you'd like me to try it again and produce an error log please let me know (I just need to accumulate a few SMS' first
.
I'm not sure if its fixed now cause i was not able to reproduce it on my PC. Please try it with the current beta and if it crashes again then post the contents of %appdata%\MyPhoneExplorer\Debug.txt after the crash.
