On Jan 15 2011 Stefan Galler wrote an instruction on "Howto and FAQ: Use Android Phones with MyPhoneExplorer".
After trying the two suggestions for downloading "General ADB Drivers" I have to report that my McAfee did react on "http://adbdriver.com/downloads/" McAfee SiteAdvisor said: "adbdriverinstaller.exe contains PUP"
Also, couldn't you update your article - I find it tricky to understand and use your instructions!
General ADB drivers
PUP means that the setup does show advertisments, not more and not less. So i don't think its so critical that i should remove the link. I will look at the FAQ, since we are not native english speakers there are sure some things to optimize.
