While writing an SMS in MPE in native language (Russian in my case), MPE switches it to UCS2 encoding. That makes the text look like this:

The problem occures with every font setting in MPE (system font tahoma and all the rest), except for one proprietary font of my company, though an ugly one.
I never experienced similar problem with any other program, and even MPE displays fonts in native language ok in most of the windows, except for creating an sms, an appointment or a note.
I use MPE 1.5.9 (the problem was in earlier versions too), Win2000 SP4 English version.
Any ideas how to treat this?
