Portable version remembering my phone?

I've copied my portable version into another computer, but not before deleting all sub-folders under Data.

Nevertheless, as soon as I tried (as an experiment) to add my phone into the other computer, it recognized my phone without asking any questions and already knew its name within MPE.

What's up with that?

Do you mean the profile name in MyPhoneExplorer ?
The profile name is also saved in the general.ini - File inside the Data-Folder.

Oh.......I think it's because it's encoded.

Is there no way to remove myself from "Users="?

You can delete this key. Its just a fallback, the userdata are also saved inside the profile folder in the settings.dat.
