I have nearly 10,000 Google Calendar events to sync to my Sony Ericsson W810i. It takes a very long time when I want to sync EVERYTHING. Once it finishes, it says "phone disconnected" or something... and fails.
The W810i can store only 300 appointments, you have to reduce the sync time range
