Wifi sync suddenly stopped working

I've been using MPE on my Google Nexus S for more than a year and everthing thing was working OK. I setup the sync via Wifi and it worked OK.
Today however, when I try to sync it, MPE tells me it can't find the phone. The actual message is "Connection to phone could not be established"

I have checked that the Wifi is on and other internet services all work.
I check that I have latest version on both PC and phone, but still nothing.

Any ideas on what could be wrong or what I could look for

Restart your phone and WiFi Router. If this does not help then post the logfile after the error message appeared

Thank you very much, this has fixed the problem. Initially I tried just re-booting the phone, but that didn't help. As, as per your suggestion, I rebooted my Wifi router and after that, suddenly it all works again.

In the mean time I had connected via USB cable and synch'd that way, but I much prefer the Wifi.

Do, you have any idea on what the problem might have been.

Hi,

I've been using MPE on Xperia mini pro and it used to work like a charm. But today it just stopped. I have the newest clients both for PC (running on Win7) and on the phone.
The problem is both with syncing over wifi as well as using USB cable. I've re-installed both apps, rebooted both the PC and the phone and also followed your instructions on re-booting my wifi router. Still nothing.

Please help.

Check your firewall settings. Also try the connection option "Fixed IP". The WiFi IP of your phone is shown in MyPhoneExplorer Client
