Entries are deleted

I have just done a first sync between my phone (a Samsung Galaxy S2) and Thunderbird 9 with Lightning using MPE. I only wanted to sync the calender. (Otherwise I'm just syncing my phone contacts with MPE.) My phone is new, and so is my use of Lightning, so there were only a few entries in either. The first time I did it, it seemed to work very nicely.

The second time I did it, all the events with any duration disappeared from Thunderbird and MPE, leaving only the day-long events and single moment events. However they didn't disappear from the phone, although many events which I had entered in Thunderbrid did not appear properly in the one-day view (single moment events merely were included as all-day events at the top of the day, although their time details were given.)

In addition, Thunderbird is not visible as a calender with which to sync in the MPE Android client settings.

The phone has been set up to sync with google, but I've disabled that.

The programme looks good, and I hope I can get it to work! I'd be grateful for any help.

In my orginal posting, I forgot to mention that I'm using XP Service Pack 3, and the latest MPE.

Hmm, maybe you unchecked a calendar for sync in the settings of the client on phone. check this
