Apad tablet changing identity

Great product. Using it successfully with Sony ericsson Xperia Ray.

I have an Apad 4 Renasa tablet running Android 2.2.1.
Successfully connects and works using Wifi or USB. After a reboot something changes and it is not recognised as the same phone.

The identfying string will have a different number each time e.g.
renasas Full Android [359500011236417]
Next time around
renasas Full Android [C27817872b9b7edd]

Anything I can do to get around this.

It seems that MyPhoneExplorer is not able to detect the tablets IMEI sometimes and so he uses the Android-ID. The IMEI is 359500011236417, when MyPhoneExplorer does load the second profile then check if the tablet itself shows your IMEI in the settings

THis part of the problem I have. I now have a new phone (not a tablet) which has a new imie number so I cant recover my data and phone numbers.

How do I get round this please

- Disconnect the phone or connect the old one
- in Menu-File-Users -> switch to the old profile
- Menu-Extras-Create backup
- switch to the new profile
- Menu-Extras-Restore backup

Easy, isn't ?
