Outlook Sync with 1.8.1 error

Finally got to update to 1.8.1 but the phone will no longer sync with outlook. I haven't changed any settings.

Version 1.8.0 worked with MS Office Outlook 2007. I updated to MS Office Outlook 2010 and Version 1.8.1 at the same time because my experience to date was extremely positive concerning this software.
Now I have discovered MS Office Outlook is not recognized by versions 1.8.0 or 1.8.1. All help is appreciated. :shock:

Well, I'm back with a fix that worked for me:
1. Computer app My phoneexplorer Goto File Settings
2. Goto Advanced
3. Make sure you have placed a check mark in third item from top " Disable Windows Shell Extension" :idea:

@hunter: Did it work with v1.8.0 ? It seems that your Office-installation does not support scripting (in the Office-Setup you have to enable Visual Basic Scripting, since OL2010 this is not default)

This has absolutly nothing to do with Outlook - are you sure that this helped ?

Thanks for your help but it seems to be working now? Shut the software and computer down and re-started and it all worked? It did all work with 1.8.0 and now works fine (from what i can see) with 1.8.1.
