I like the tooltip notification for incoming SMSes, but often SMSes get out of synch in MyPhoneExplorer (it will show one or two messages behind). Also, incoming SMSes get split into different conversations based on the first digit of the number (+1 vs. 0), even though the rest of the number is the same (messages come from the same person).
(If there is interest, I can see about reproducing these bugs and reporting in detail the steps)
I already use EasySMS, which also supports MMS, so is there a way to disable the SMS features of MPE, and just use the Calendar and Contacts sync?
Is there a way to disable the SMS functions?

Messed up phone numbers in Messages
The USA phone numbers in Messages -> Conversations seem to occur in 5 formats:
+1-234-567-8901 (the format I entered all numbers in my Android's Contacts)
1-234-567-8901 (no leading plus sign)
12345678901 (11-digit)
O+1-234-567-8901 (leading letter 'O')
+1-234-567-8901@

I would prefer to see names, not numbers, in the Conversations list. Another issue is that once I expand a conversation, the number in the root is 0123... and the numbers in the conversation messages are +1-234...:
