new folder

Hi,

I'm unable to add a new folder in my memorystick. When I add the new folder the next message is on my screen: \folder\could not be created. OBEX error code: C1 unauthorized

This error only occurs when the folder is made in my memorystick. When it's made in the phonememory there's no error.

I uses vers. 1.5.2.

This problem exist since long time. In early versions this was also the problem but you said it was an beta so there are bugs. but now this is an official release.

I hope you can fix this bug because then I can upload my mp3 into different folders.

Which folder you want to create - please tell me the path.
The errorcode comes directly from the phone so i think you want to create a folder where it should be no folder.

Its right there were some bugs in the filebrowser which are all fixed (i think)

It's on the whole memorystick. I tested it. When I made the new in my phone there's no problem.

the path e.g. \Memory Stick\MSSEMC\Media Files\image

or:

\Memory Stick\MP3

When I added a folder by way of my cardreader there was no problem and the phone identified also the folder

I tried it now with my W800 - connected throught BT so the OBEX-Protocol was used -> it worked without issues. Then i checked the logfiles. In my test i have sent exactly the same bytes as in your logfile.

So i think the phone does really forbid to create a folder on the memorystick. Can you create those folders inside the phone ?

I'm unable to make a folder in my memorystick in my phone. all folders are made in my phonememory. But when I use an cardreader I can make new folders on my memorystick. Then when I use the mediaplayer. I see the symbol for the memorystick before this folders. I think you are right. It's impossible to make folders in my memorystick via the phone.
