I was already very very very afraid this would happen. I have bouhgt myself a wildfire android thingie.
I installed HTC-sync-setup, because that seems to be the only way to get the drivers on the computer
I installed myphonexplorer1.8 and am stuck straight out of the box:
I changed the settings to phone with android and automatic detection. I connect the phone to the pc (sounds appear from the speakers on my pc, so I am assuming the connection is made). On the phone I select "charge onlyl".
I click "connect" in myphoneexplorer and after "searching wifi IP of phone": connection to phone could not be established. No device attached to USB.
From the help I learn something about ADB drivers. Whats that? (some XDA links pop up in google, linux stuff I do not understand). does this last part means myphoneexplorer is only for the very few people that "speak" techno babble stuff?
Totally completely and utterly lost
That seems to be USB debugging.novw hat geschrieben:this is why I hate localized phones![]()
On that screen I have
USB foutopsporing
standby
neplocaties toestaan
foutopsporing translates to search for errors. Is that remotely the same as debugging?
And I have set my phone to english, looks more serious that way ^^
