Can I start automatically when I plug in my phone?

Hi,

I was wondering if you could help me, I have done a search but not found if it is possible or how to.

When I plug my phone into my laptop, using usb, MPE recognises this and the program automatically opens or starts up, so I only have to click on the notification icon (near the clock) to sync or send a message.

is this function possible? and if so what settings do i need to tick ?
or is it something i need to set up in windows ?

This is at the technically not possible cause there is no way to set a desired action when the phone gets connected in Windows. The only solution would be a small helper-tool which looks for new connected phones but currently this has no priority

OK, many thanks for the heads up, Its good to know what can and can't be done, I didn't want to miss out on any tricks.

Not quite the same thing but you can get MPE to sync at startup. Obviously you need to connect the phone to the cable before you launch Windows. Works for me
